Local Authority – Prescribed Housing Loan Form – Legal Office Notice No. 10 of 2010

Under Circular dated 20th September 2010, reference HPS 11/2010, the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government has prescribed a form of Housing Loan Mortgage, to satisfy the requirements of the Land & Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2009 and the Registration of Title Act 1964. The format has been approved by the Property Registration Authority pursuant to Rule 52(2) of the Land Registration Rules 2012. All Housing Loans under the Housing Acts 1966 to 2009 dated after 1st October 2010 must be in the prescribed form.
