An issue has been identified at our Central Filing Repository, which houses completed registration applications (Instruments). During a recent inspection, the presence of asbestos was detected in part of the facility. As a precautionary measure, access to the affected area has been restricted until it is deemed safe for operations by the Office of Public Works.
As a result, Copy Instrument requests for, and as they relate to, all pre-2006 Instruments along with Ground Rent amendments and duplicate requests for all years, are temporarily paused, as these records are located within the restricted area. We kindly ask that no requests for these records be submitted at this time, as we are currently unable to access or process applications relating to them.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and want to assure you that we are working urgently to resolve the issue and restore the service as soon as it is safe to do so. Our priority is the health and safety of our staff and all those accessing the facility.
