eRegistration Applications

Electronic applications created on eRegistration.ie offer enhanced processing times and a more efficient service for certain application types, including all of folio discharges, transfers and charges. Due to the pre-lodgement of some information for eCharges and eTransfers, the processing of the application can be carried out more efficiently and registration completed more promptly. There are also no fees applicable for registration of an eCharge or eDischarge.

All applications for registration for all 26 counties created under eRegistration (‘W’ application numbers) should be lodged in our Waterford office.

Registry of Deeds Applications

All applications for registration or for official searches of the Registry of Deeds, for all 26 counties, should be addressed to our Chancery Street office.

Applications for Copy Folio and Copy Instruments

We recommend that all solicitors acting for the registered owners use the paperless copy Instrument application process whenever possible to avail of the most efficient processing times. Learn more on our page Practising Solicitors – Register to lodge online Copy Instrument Applications.

All paper based applications for Copy Folio or Copy Instruments for all 26 counties should be addressed to the Customer Service Unit in our Chancery Street office.

Personal Applications

Applications for registration which are lodged directly by the applicant, and not by a solicitor acting on their behalf, should be lodged in our Roscommon office. This includes Personal Applications for First Registration in Form 1, 2, or 5, but excludes Section 49 applications. Please note the additional requirements for personal applications.
