Rule 33 – Application where ownership registered 12 years under transfer for value

Where the ownership of property purchased under the Land Purchase Acts has been registered for over 12 years, and an applicant for the conversion of a possessory title claims as, through, or under a registered owner registered not less than 12 years prior to the application on a transfer for valuable consideration made after the first registration of such property and occupation has been in accordance with the registered title, the Authority may, on lodgment of an application in Form 10, with such modifications as the case may require, convert the title into an absolute title.
