LR Rule 71 – Effect of covenant to pay rent or indemnify may be noted in register

On a transfer of property subject to an existing rent or to a burden appearing in the register, a covenant in the transfer by either party to indemnify or exonerate the other party from the rent or burden or part of it, or the effect of it, may be noted in the register.
