Depending on the type of application, and the county of the property involved, you should lodge your application for Registration in person or by post at one of the below offices. Further information about our locations and opening hours is available under the Contact Us section.

eRegistration Applications
Electronic applications created on eRegistration.ie offer enhanced processing times and a more efficient service for certain application types, including all of folio discharges, transfers and charges. There are also no fees applicable for registration of an eCharge or eDischarge.
All applications for registration for all 26 counties created under eRegistration (‘W’ application numbers) should be lodged in our Waterford office.
Registry of Deeds Applications
All applications for registration or for official searches of the Registry of Deeds, for all 26 counties, should be addressed to our Smithfield Hall office.
Ground Rents Applications
All applications to purchase the Ground Rents, Consent cases and Arbitration cases, for all 26 Counties should be addressed to our Smithfield Hall office.
Applications for Copy Folio and Copy Instruments
We recommend that all solicitors acting for the registered owners use the paperless copy Instrument application process whenever possible to avail of the most efficient processing times. Practising Solicitors may apply to be an authorised user: Register to lodge online Copy Instrument Applications.
All paper based applications for Copy Folio or Copy Instruments for all 26 counties should be addressed to the Customer Service Unit in our Smithfield Hall office.
Personal Applications
Applications for registration on the Land Register which are lodged directly by the applicant, and not by a solicitor acting on their behalf, should be lodged in our Roscommon office.
This includes Personal Applications for First Registration in Form 1, 2, or 5, and Section 49 applications. Please note the additional requirements for Personal Applications.

All applications for First Registration on Form 1, Form 2, Form 3, Form 3 (MSB), Form 5 and Form 6 applications under Section 49, for all 26 counties, should be lodged in our Roscommon office.
All other Land Registry application types
All other Land Registry applications should be lodged directly to the appropriate office listed below depending on the county involved in the registration.
Where an application includes counties for more than one office, please choose one office location based on the predominant county for registration.
