Rule 53 – Applications or instruments in improper form
If it appears to the Authority that any application or instrument is improper in form or in substance or is not clearly expressed or does not indicate with sufficient precision the particular interest or land which it is intended to affect or refers only to matters which are not the subject of registration under the Act or involves registration of a restriction which would be unreasonable or calculated to cause inconvenience or is otherwise expressed in a manner inconsistent with the principles upon which the register is to be kept, it may refuse registration or register subject to such modifications as it shall approve.
